Zynga brings Warner’s Wonka film into Words With Friends 2

Zynga and Warner Bros. Pictures are merging two entertainment worlds in an unlikely match. Zynga, a division of Take-Two Interactive, will insert Wonka characters into its Words With Friends 2 game.

It’s part of a promo of the holiday film Wonka, starring Timothée Chalamet as the titular character.

This partnership promises players an immersive peek into the magical universe of Wonka through exclusive in-game challenges, rewards, and movie-related content.

The film tells the journey of the world’s greatest inventor, magician, and chocolate maker who ultimately becomes Willy Wonka. Introducing a blend of familiar faces, fresh characters, and inventions, the film unfurls the tale of a young Willy Wonka, brimming with inventive ideas and a mission to transform the world, one delicious bite at a time. The film’s limited-time in-game integration commences today, heralding surprises for Words With Friends 2 players.

Within Words With Friends 2, a customized avatar portraying Chalamet’s Wonka invites players into his whimsical realm for chocolate-themed Friendly Faceoff word games.

Winning two games against this candy maker earns players an exclusive Wonka-themed frame for a player profile. The Word of the Day will be “Chocolatier.”
